With Russia violating the Trump energy infrastructure ceasefire agreement within hours of agreeing to it and demanding additional concessions while launching attacks with scooters and golf carts, there does not seem to be any immediate end to Russia’s illegal war of territorial aggression against Ukraine in sight.

The Russia – Ukraine energy infrastructure cease fire was supposed to go into effect on 17 March.
The Ukrainians, with NATO targeting guidance, repeatedly struck the Novozybkov pumping station of the Druzhba pipeline in Bryansk Oblast on 18 & 19 March. This pipeline, owned by Transneft JSC, supplies NATO members Hungary and Slovakia with well over half of their oil. The EU exempted the Hungarian and Slovakian legs of Druzhba from sanctions because they have no alternative source of replacement oil.
The Ukrainians have been attacking different points along the Druzhba pipeline since the beginning of the war. Volodymyr Zelenskiy has long advocated blowing up the Druzhba pipeline to cripple Hungarian industry, because he views Orbán’s government as too friendly towards Russia. Since his failed assassination attempt on Slovakian Prime Minister Fico, Zelenskiy and NATO have also been attempting to damage Slovakia’s economy as well.
The Russians will continue retaliating against NATO/Ukrainian strikes on the Druzhba pipeline as long as they occur.

Operation Potok (Flow) was mounted through the empty 1.42 m (56 inch) diameter Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod natural gas pipeline. The Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod pipeline was empty because Volodymr Zelenskiy shut down natural gas transit to the West on January 1st, 2025.
The Druzhba pipeline at Novozybkov is a 0.425 m (17 inch) diameter wet oil pipeline which is still in service, full of hot oil under pump pressures. Even empty, it is impossible for persons to travel inside it.

The ICC is not investigating Bucha.
It has filed charges against Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova for “child abductions” on 17 March 2023. Admiral Viktor Sokolov and Air Force General Sergey Kobylash were indicted for attacks on the Ukrainian electrical grid.
All of these incidents occurred well after the warfare in Bucha. The ICC is probably regretting they could not file such charges against American soldiers in Kuwait or the British dam busters in WW II.
Acting CNO Admiral James Kilby made some comments the day before yesterday which suggest that the Houthi strike missile was a $ 3 million AGM-84H/K SLAM-ER (Standoff Land Attack Missile-Expanded Response), rather than a much cheaper JDAM kit equipped bomb.
