Brandon Herrera and the Ballistic High-Speed guys get together to answer the question: What happens when you fire a tank cannon at someone’s torso and head?
Well, not to answer it. We all know what the answer is. But they went out to demonstrate the answer in glorious ballistic gel color.
“It just turned him into a jelly-filled doughnut.”

OK now that’s impressive.
During Operation Just Cause, the Panama Invasion in ’89, I was a Staff Officer in one of the planning cells, and then was the HQ MAC liaison in putting together an after action brief. One of the highlights was watching video of the gunships in action, including one of the gunships putting a 105MM round on a Panamanian soldier who was firing on US soldiers. It was pretty impressive.
Inspectors Callahan and Moore arrived late.

I had a friend who kept the woodchuck population on his truck farm in check with a Model 70 Winchester chambered for the 7mm Remington magnum but those woodchucks were just as dead when I shot them with my Winchester 94-22 magnum.
This tank round supplies good Terminator medicine but a .22 RF through the temple would be equally lethal.
One fun fact: those bone fragments you see flying from the “body” act like shrapnel and can cause major wounds in other soldiers.
