Next to the idea that a man can magically become a woman by declaring himself one, and the idea that criminal should be set free because they’re actually victims of whiteness/capitalism/etc., “reparations” are one of the most absurd and counterproductive ideas floated under the banner of “social justice.” the idea that people who were never slaves should extort money from people who were never slave owners is an unconstitutional absurdity that no one should take seriously.
Which is why this story warms the cockles of my heart.
A Target security guard punched a customer during a confrontation that was sparked when she asked for “reparations” while at a checkout line with more than $1,000 in groceries, according to a police report.
The ugly incident happened in October at the megastore in Blue Ash, Ohio, and began when Karen Ivery asked a cashier for their manager regarding the bill and reparations, according to the police report reviewed by The Post.
Social Justice Karens are worst Karens.
The cashier alleged to authorities that Ivery brought up reparations several times during their brief encounter before the manager arrived, the report states.
When speaking with the manager, the customer first asked for reparations and grew angry as she walked “aggressively” toward the manager, according to the report.
“Ivery kept berating her about reparations and her privileged life,” the report alleges as the patron kept walking toward the manager.
That’s when Zach Cotter, a loss prevention officer, intervened and asked Ivery to calm down and leave the store, the report states.
But she allegedly began screaming at Cotter and followed him to his office.
When he tried to shut the door, Ivery allegedly forced her way in and Cotter threw a punch, according to the report.
Surveillance footage of the incident reported on by the Daily Mail shows the staffer’s punch caused the woman to hit the floor.
After reviewing footage of the incident, authorities wrote that they determined Ivery was the “aggressor” and she was placed under arrest.
Good. Deluded people who demand free money for breathing should be derided and ignored, and aggressive people who barge into offices making threats have well earned a five-finger reparation to the face.

Every day I see another video about it. Every day I read another article about them. Everyday I read more and more comments asking why. People are getting really tired of this and negro-thug fatigue is real. Everyday there’s more and more evidence that the only thing they understand is violence. This is a perfect example, the situation wasn’t defused until he hit her.
Every-friggin time, they will escalate and escalate and esacalate until it results in combat. There is nothing you can say. There’s no other way to get through.
What I’ve found striking, over the last thirty years or so, is just how many of these people across the spectrum of leftist “action” seem hell-bent on proving the truth of all those ancient canards levied against the various groups making up the leftist coalition against normalcy and decency.
We were told that blacks were good citizens, just oppressed. Look at what Detroit turned into, and what other major cities are turning into under the weight of black criminality. There was no reason for all those neat, well-manicured Polish and other European immigrant neighborhoods in Detroit to turn into the urban waste areas that they did, except for one thing: Black criminality, which supposedly doesn’t exist. There’s a reason all those neighborhoods aren’t what they were, and it boils down to precisely who took them over. Along with city governance. And, interestingly, the “police brutality” and incompetence overseen by those exact same people, elected by that exact same electorate. It’s like they’re deliberately living the truth of the old-timey racists.
Same-same with the Jews. What was the line the Nazis had about jazz music? That it was “African rythms meant to corrupt the young, paid for and spread by Jewish finance…” Ridiculous on the face of things, right? Right? It’s just music, isn’t it?
OK, fine… Go take a long, hard look at who is paying for and profiting off the promotion of things like “Gangsta Rap”? Think that that hasn’t had something to do with the rise of black criminality, that the most prevalent popular music glorifies criminality, drugs, and treating women like “skank hos”? Is there anything positive out there in that world, or is it a never-ending stream of young rap artists getting shot for criminal behavior?
Another area of cognitive dissonance: What were we told about giving women the vote? That they were too hysterical and emotional, and could not be entrusted with the levers of power. Huh. Take a look around you, at your typical female politician in Congress and elsewhere: What do you see? Hysteria and emotional decision-making, with zero common sense applied. How many Dixy Lee Ray’s do we have, today? How many AOCs, who manages to make one of the best arguments for reverse female suffragism I’ve ever seen, just by existing. Let’s not even get into her holding a degree in Economics, either–That alone ought to have alumni of Boston University suing them in open court for the utter debasement of their expensive degrees. Who would hire someone having one of those things, looking at AOC and her manic ignorant rambles about economic matters? Who the hell thought it was a good idea to elect a former bartender to Congress…?
You would almost think that the modern world was run by people trying to discredit all those reformers who told us these things were falsehoods and lies, about all these groups.
Either that, or those old-timey racy-race-racist bigots were on to something with their stereotypes.
I left high school in the early 1980s, fully invested in all the modern cant about the various downtrodden and abused elements in society. What I’ve learned through hard experience and actually living life with my eyes open is that a lot of the “downtrodden and abused” were that simply because that was about all they were ever good for, across a broad swath of their demographics. For every Margaret Thatcher out there, you’ve got a dozen or more shrilly ignorant AOC types; for every decent black man, at least ten thugs; for every sane LGBTQWTFBBQ type, you’ve got thirty crazy pedophiles who want to talk to your preschooler about how nice it is to be anally fisted…
Longer I live, the more I think those old-timey primitive bastards were on to something with all that “hate and prejudice”. Can’t wait to see what they turn the urban areas of the Pacific Northwest into, after they’re done driving out all the normies.

She got a token fine and a couple nights in jail. The only real punishment was getting permanently banned from her local Target.
I want to know (and punish) whoever coached her in to pulling this stunt. Getting told she had to come back tomorrow wasn’t out of line at all for a rational human being.

Ed, as Jessie Jackson says he fells so much safer when he notes that the three young men walking behind him at night are white and not black, says it all. When will this nation recognize that diversity has never been a strength and some groups have cultural values that weaken societies.

Like I said, I used to buy into the BS they were selling. Lost my innocence in that regard sometime in my mid-twenties, when I recognized the inherent disadvantages I had as a normal white male in the military. Frankly, with the way they implemented Affirmative Action in the promotion system, it’s a distinct disadvantage, being white and normal. If you’re a member of a protected class, you can continually f*ck up and still move up; after awhile, from the evidence presented by who got promoted, it was a positive advantage to be black, asian-pacific islander, or whatever–Those guys could have reliefs for cause, DUI, low NCOER scores, and they’d still get promoted ahead of men who were demonstrably in possession of more actual “merit”. It was all about what ethnicity you claimed, and it was a heinous failure of judgement when they brought all that crap in.
What you’re seeing in public life across the board is the same thing, playing out. Those asshole “legislators” in Tennessee? Perfect examples. Thrown out of the Statehouse for literal documented misconduct and riot, sent right back by their fellow ferals.
I suspect that American cities aren’t coming back, ever. Not until entire demographics get cleared out, by whatever means history brings to bear. I suspect that whatever the hell it turns out to be, it won’t be at all pretty. The future is in decentralization, and God help us if something like a Carrington Event takes us back to the old days before remote work was feasible. If that happens, expect major issues going forward with the idiot class as we try and make cities livable and workable again.
Sadly, I know that there are dozens of lawyers lining up to represent this person when she sues Target for getting punched.
Target will, of course, cave and pay her a multimillion dollar settlement, give tens of millions to BLM and require all of their employees to undergo racial sensitivity training after they publicly fire and humiliate the security guard.
The end result of all this is that minority people will start robbing Target stores and attacking their employees with impunity.
And then Target will go bankrupt.
Imagine gathering up merchandise to the tune of more than a thousand dollars (that’s a lot of groceries!), going through the check-out process, and then demanding that it be gifted to her because of something which has not only been been outlawed for hundreds of years, but which has had zero impact on her life.
Who does that? Race hustlers, professional and amateur.

Over 43 years of working I have had blacks as neighbors or worked with them in Houston, Nashville, Portland, Oakland and Seattle. I have a great neighbor now who is originally from the Congo. One of my favorite people was one of my accountants who came in and dressed me down for coming in quietly in the morning instead of giving an enthusiastic greeting.
I know there are thugs, but I think your percentage is wrong. I have never met one who was black.

Sure. Yeah. You bet. I’ll contrast that with my lived experience of theft, thuggery, and accusations of “racism” because I actually expected people to do what they were supposed to. Ever wonder why every single black majority city in this country is an utter sh*thole? Like, what happened to Detroit?
There are decent human beings who happen to be black. The problem isn’t them; the problem is the sad fact that most blacks aren’t “decent human beings”, because if they were, then these facts of black criminality and thuggery wouldn’t be the sad truths that they are.
I worked with and knew some great people who happened to be darkly complected. I also worked and lived around things that walked around on two legs, claiming to be human but who behaved like animals. When you contrast the numbers of those two groups, you’re a damn fool if you assume that the first group is the one you’re actually dealing with whenever you encounter anything resembling that group.
I didn’t used to be a racist. I am one now, and the thing that changed that? Wasn’t some “white supremacist asshole” convincing me that I was wrong. It was blacks stealing from me, vandalizing property, threatening me, and all the rest of the crap. I’m still treating people like people, but my automatic assumption of virtue is no more. Instead, I assume that if you’re black, you’re more likely than not to conform to the stereotypical mean of people who look like you. Anything else is contra-survival behavior at this point.
My ancestors fought to end slavery. If I could say anything to them, I’d tell them the truth I’ve learned, which is that it wasn’t a good idea to try and live with the descendants of the people you white-knighted and “saved”. Down that path lays nothing but resentment and hatred, so don’t bother making the attempt. Slavery should have never happened, but then again, neither should anyone have expected that blacks would be at all appreciative of the sacrifice made on their behalf.
Sad, but true. Scott Adams isn’t wrong, when he says “Just get away…” Handwriting is on the wall; if you refuse to read it, you’re a damn fool.
This also applies to blacks, who’re so damn stupid as a group that they’re remaining solidly Democratic as that party brings in their replacements from Central America. Observe the next thirty-forty years, and witness the demographic decline as blacks are ethnically cleansed across the US. The gangs were the first things to go; the rest of their population will eventually follow. It’s not at all accidental that Mexico has less than 2% of their population that calls itself black, and I suspect it’ll wind up somewhere around the same here in the US before we’re writing the year with a “21” as the first two numbers. Can’t say as I like that, but that’s the way it’s going to go.

I used to work with a Nigerian guy who’s dad came to America with a chunk of his extended family’s money in order to open a business. He chose to “serve the black American market…” and opened up in the ‘hood. He had a small market, that his wunnerful, wunnerful neighborhood regulars drove into the ground through petty theft, vandalism, and frivolous lawsuits for things like slips and falls. His son watched it all happen over the course of his childhood, and observed his father’s health go into decline after two bankruptcies and at least three armed robberies that resulted in significant injury. By the end of it all, there wasn’t a dime left in the family funds to help pay for his college, so he wound up joining the Army. His father died while he was in the Army, as an employee of a larger grocer that had bought his failing location, and he just got caught in the crossfire between the cops and a couple of ‘hood rats that were robbing the place.
You want to see racism? You should have talked to my Nigerian friend; he absolutely loathed the vast majority of American blacks, and with good reason. The day he lost his bearing and unloaded on them in one of those “equal opportunity” bitch sessions? I think that was about the closest I ever came to dying in a race riot. The majority did not take what he had to say very well, at all. I think it was one of the more surreal days of my military career, sitting there in the back of the classroom while the usual BS was going on, and only listening with half an ear, to hear our very, very dark black Nigerian tell the rest of the actual mulatto American blacks that their ancestors were sold to the white man because they were probably lousy slaves, lazy and indolent, and that was the only reason his tribe had sold people to the slave traders on the coast. Per what he was saying, only “bad, lazy slaves” got sold, and then when you factored in the interbreeding with the lazy and useless whites in the south, he wasn’t very impressed with American blacks. At. All. I remember one of his lines, which was “Look at me: I am black. I am not like you, sort of blacks… You have too much worthless white in you to call yourselves black or African… You aren’t black at all, you are mostly mulatto, mixed race…”
He also went on to point out that while he’d been steadily going to school on the Army’s dime, that he never saw any of the blacks over at the Education Center, taking college classes (something of an exaggeration, I’ll grant, but at least somewhat valid), always saw them wasting their money on fancy cars, drinking, beating their wives and kids… He basically ran down the litany of black dysfunction and called them all out for it. “This is why we sold your ancestors to the white man… They were useless…”
Yeah, we had to put him into protective custody while he was outprocessing the Army over the next two weeks. I think he’d just had his last nerve stepped on with that “sensing session” BS, especially after the guy running it, a true-to-life “community organizer” rabble-rousing type, spent thirty minutes running the Army and “acting white” down, then asked our Nigerian for corroboration about how things were different in Africa. Oh, boy… Did he let them know just how different things really were.
I think that had to have been one of my more surreal moments in my military career, and I’m also pretty sure that the only reason violence didn’t ensue was due to the sheer shock of the whole thing. If a white guy or a Mexican had said that sh*t, true as it was? LOL; instant race riot. Hearing it from an actual black African first-generation Nigerian? Caused significant cognitive dissonance.
