New York’s Democratic Governor Andrew “Granny Killer” Cuomo just announced “his resignation, effective in 14 days, a week after the state attorney general’s office found he had sexually harassed nearly a dozen women.”

Edited to add: National Review: “In my mind, I’ve never crossed the line with anyone but I didn’t realize the extent to which the line has been redrawn.” He’s right and he’s wrong: The line has been redrawn, but he’s long been over it…
Edited to Add 2: I’m just going to start throwing up some tweets on the topic:
The Cuomo lesson for all future Democrat politicians is that you can murder 10,000+ senior citizens and get away with it—you can even make millions of dollars for murdering them!—as long as you don’t grope anyone.

I’m glad he’s gone, but I’m not gonna kid myself that this necessary act of excretion happened because our political culture is healthy, or that our ‘betters’ have found their sense of shame.
After all, dirtbags like Bill Clinton and Joe Biden have weathered worse and are still prospering. I’m guessing Coumo is out because his presence on stage inconvenienced other, better connected and more powerful people. I’m sure Kamala’s handlers are pleased, for example. If Cuomo decided to try for the White House In ‘24 he could have taken the nomination— which is a likelier explanation for why the long knives came out than the notion that the Democrats discovered a thirst for justice.
If Cuomo has the sense to stay bought I’m sure his party will make sure he’s well taken care of, much like Bernie.
But still, that horrible man is out of power regardless of why, and I’ll take that for a win.
Phew. How many hundred days was that again without good news?
